Jubilee Concert

Twenty-five years ago a group of local musicians, many ex-Service Bandsmen met together to form the Abingdon Military Band. The name was subsequently changed to its present Abingdon Concert Band. Tonight we celebrate those 25 years and over 150 performances.
The conductor this evening is Anthony Sadler, who conducted the band for 18 years from 1980 until his retirement in 1998.
